Dancing in the Sunlight – Dark Shadows (5.8, 10p, 1000′) Lead Rope Solo – Mescalito Dome – Red Rocks, NV (06.28.26)

On Sunday June 28th, 2026, I rope-soloed the ultra-classic Dark Shadows to the summit of Mescalito Dome - my longest lead rope solo to date. I completed the route in 12.5 hours car-to-car, including 23 pitches and 2,300 feet of fifth class climbing.
